Kinja'd!!!

Some nights ago, I went to pick up some leftover parts from someone who'd traded his car in for something more fun. There was some miscommunication on where we'd meet and we ended up a few miles apart. "I'll drive over to you," I said. Free parts, y'know, and I didn't want to aggravate the guy.

"No, stick around. I'll be there in a bit." Couldn't take that long, right?

30 minutes later the angriest sounding 'Vette I've ever heard pulls into the parking lot. GRWAAAAAARRRRRrrwubwubwubwubwub. Driver steps out, big grin on face.

"Sorry, I took the long way around." Then his face goes blank. "Uh ... what did I come here for again?"

If you can ignore the interior the C5 Vette was amazing. Plus pop up headlights bro.
Headlights go up. Headlights go down. Headlights go up. Headlights go down.

I heard a story via a mechanic at a Chevy dealer - he says the owner of a C6 Z06 came into the dealership and says: "there is something wrong with my car, whenever it rains, it starts to misfire and run rough." Mechanic takes it for a spin and comes back in and says "sir, that isn't misfire, it is the traction control coming on."

Lmfao that's epic.

Some of us (me) have issues and will find any excuse to drive the car. I will take my own car even if I can get a ride with someone else, just so I can take it out and enjoy the car. That's why I own it.

So I can enjoy it, drive it when I want to.

Knob.* It's on a stalk for C5.

I broke my C4 knob and wound up with a $100 repair. :(

Ditto. And I'll try to steal passengers from friends to share my madness.

People love riding in my car.

They like the attention the car gets.

All the looks.

and being a passenger in my car I've seen it too.

People (girls mostly) just starring at the car thumbs up or yellign out the window saying I have a nice car and stuff.

I absolutely love it every damn day

Dude, that's cheap. Would have been $1000 in a Merc.

I went eBay. A new one would've been $300. Still not Mercedes expensive, but for something as stupid simple as a three-way toggle switch it's outrageous.
